Kashmir – Honeymoon Package – Deluxe

You arrive at Srinagar (International Airport) in the morning.
A taxi will pick you up and take you to Gulmarg.

At the hotel you will receive a welcome drink and a little snack.

After your hotel check-in your first activity awaits you:

Activities for today:

• Snowmobile or ATV ride (Seasonal)

You may stretch your legs afterwards or discover the outside of your hotel area even more.

We hope you have had a good sleep and are ready to strengthen yourself with a good breakfast: served into your room.

Whenever you’re ready, honey, let’s start our big climb.

Activities for today:

• Hike up to Kangdori (Phase 1)
• Gondola ride from Kangdori (Phase 1) to Apharwat (Phase 2) and return to Gulmarg

Your hotel will provide you a three way Gondala ticket before you start your hike.

If the weather is good and cloudless, we recommend to step out into the dark after your dinner to witness the stunning starry sky!

After your breakfast and before check-out, your hotel will organise horses/sledges for you, for a one hour ride.

In addition we can also suggest the following activities:

• Gulmarg Children’s Park / Boat ride
• Bicycle ride
• Skiing

Then a taxi will pick you up at your hotel in Gulmarg and take you to your houseboat on Srinagar’s Nigeen Lake or to your hotel – whatever you have chosen beforehand.

• Shalimar Bagh
• Nishat Bagh
• Chashme Shahi
• Pari Mahal

After a long day your taxi will bring you back to your accommodation for an enjoyable evening and for a good night’s rest  – which you definitely deserve by now.

For breakfast we recommend to try the tasty fresh baked lavaas or girda, a “must try” while in Kashmir.

After a comfortable breakfast in your room, you may get ready for the day.

Your personal taxi will pick you up to chauffeur you to some of Srinagar’s most attractive sights.

Suggested sights/activities for today:

• Jamia Masjid*
• Hari Parbat
• Hazratbal Shrine*
• Shikara Boat Roundtrip (1h) on Dal Lake

(* you may choose to replace these sights with others such as  Shankaracharya temple or Shri Chakreshwari, or a shopping tour or visit to Srinagar’s town center around Lal Chowk etc.)

Please feel free to stop in between for lunch whenever you want.

After visiting the sights your taxi will take you back to your houseboat/hotel: enjoy your dinner and sleep well!

After breakfast your personal taxi will take you on a longer journey to Pahalgam, your last honeymoon destination.

On the way you pass …

• The Saffron fields near Pampore
• Anantanag
• Sun temple called “Martand” (6km after Anantanag)
• Lidder river valley

At the hotel you will receive a welcome drink and a little snack.

If you have not had lunch yet, get ready for it in order to start your “Bollywood-Honeymoon-Trip”! Your hotel will provide you with a taxi to take you to the following sights:

• Chandanwadi (family valley) with suggested activities like walking and hiking, riding a sledge (seasonal), pony riding
• Betaab Valley (famous for Bollywood films) with activities like zip-wire, park visit, walking and hiking

After such a long day with extensive travels – you definitely deserve a good night‘s honeymoon rest, and of course a delicious dinner!

During April to September: Aru Lidderwat Valley Trip

Today please get up early for this trip, so that you can leave perhaps by around 8 am to visit “Lidderwat Valley”. Your hotel will arrange a taxi to drop you to a village called Aru which is about 30 minutes distant from Pahalgam. Either in Pahalgam or Aru please get enough food and water for a full day of hiking. 

At Aru Valley your driver will arrange guides and horses for another spectacular trek. Of course, you may use your horses to carry your bags – or let you carry!

A hike from Aru to Lidderwat Valley is about 9 km (one way), which may take you around 2.5-4 hrs depending on your hiking speed. It will be shorter of course if you choose to ride. This trek is probably the most scenic one you find in Kashmir: have your camera handy! If you like you can click here for a rough overview.

During October to March: Explore Aru on sledge/horse

Enjoy a longer sleep and extensive breakfast before you head out toward Aru which is about 30 minutes distant from Pahalgam by taxi. Weather permitting, your personal taxi will pick you up and bring you to this small village. Your driver will arrange a guide with sledge for each of you, or horses, depending on the weather situation, if you like. You can spend as much as you like in exploring Aru and once you’re ready your driver will take you back to your hotel in Pahalgam for a delicious dinner.
